The "Wrong Answer Page"

Everyone participating in the crossover needs to have a "wrong answer" page. This is the page that will feature all of the basic links to sites participating in the crossover, so even if your only contribution is to plug the event, you'll need this page. Also, whenever a participant requires a wrong answer link to your blog, this is where their readers will be sent, so it's necessary for both yourself and for any blog linking to you.

The first thing you will need to do is to create a new blog post under the title:

Crisis On Earth-Blog: The DC Challenge

At the top of this post, insert the following banner art:


If you don't already have it, or do not wish to host the image yourself, the art can be found at the following address:

With the exception of The Aquaman Shrine and Love Dat Joker, everyone should have a piece of Alex Saviuk art featuring their character. If you do not, please contact me so that I may provide it. You may choose to post the Saviuk art on this page, or may create an alternative, like this delightful number Anj is using...



You can affix that art anywhere in the blog post after the above "DC Challenge" logo you so choose. You may also decide to just drop in the banner alone.

This page exists to help further direct people who select wrong answers in a challenge related to your blogs' character(s). The page will tell readers that they have selected an incorrect answer in the chosen style of your blog, and then offer up the complete list of participating blogs. Below is the current list as of January 29, 2009. Depending on your blog and browser, you may be able to copy and paste the links below without any additional HTML code.

Once you've finished doing this, publish the post. Preferably, you should backdate the post to a time when it won't share space with one of your archived posts, and will not readily appear to casual traffic. Copy the URL of the page from your browser's address bar, and paste it into an email to me. You may then unpublish the page if you wish, since the URL should still be good until you republish it, and we can incorporate the address into event planning.

I've received "Wrong Answer" pages from the following blogs, which can serve as an example. Note that the Supergirl link won't necessarily be used in the actual crossover, so don't use it in your challenges.
